The Last Word - Pineapple Variation

It has been a while since I put anything up. The Lunar New Year has made it difficult for me to get hold of my parents with enough time to find out specific information to complete some writing that I have backlogged. More will be coming soon.

In the meantime, I made this cocktail largely because I like fresh pineapple juice and having some around at the end of a long and crazy work day, I though that I sure could use a good drink. I looked around and had the idea of combining pineapple with green chartreuse. Eventually, I made something that's like a combination of a Gin and Juice with The Last Word. If you're curious about why I left out limes, part of it was that I just didn't have limes at home when I made this, but it turned out fantastic!

Recipe: 1 cocktail
0.5 oz gin
0.5 oz green chartreuse
0.5 oz Luxardo
0.8 g citric acid (adjust to taste)
2 oz fresh pineapple juice

Add all the ingredients with ice in a Boston shaker and shake for about 10 seconds until chilled. Strain and drink away!
